The Image idents are part of the Branding for the new digital channel zdf.kultur. The main focus of zdf.kultur's design is on the playful interaction with the culture. The inhibition threshold to cultural subject matter is lowered and the inclusion of the viewers has priority. They are an integral part of the process and should be encouraged to take an active part. The idents were created in cooperation with artists, friends and friends-of-culture and show imaginative interpretations of themes, installations and actions devoted to cultural topics. Home-made constructions, everyday objects placed out of content, unexpected and amusing productions are intended to be an inspiration for all viewers. Once the channel has launched everyone is invited to join in. All idents were filmed by Luxlotusliner design team using a Canon 5-D.
Creating by Doing
There was no high-gloss character up front it was much more about having fun and enjoying making things, experimenting. We had a lot of fun on this project and would like to thank our client for their courage.
