Polizeiruf 110

The new opening sequence refers to the long tradition and cult-like status of the crime series "Polizeiruf 110" ("Police call 110"). Instead of telling a story in the classical sense, it interweaves old and new movie scence. Through this a link between the police work then and now is created. The direct superimposition of the scenes and the color design give this opening sequence a contemporary and fresh appearance, giving new life the old and well known scenes. The current title music, famous and valued for its long running time, has also been modernized. Here, too, traditional instrumentation is interwoven with contemporary implementations in order to obtain a "cult, but modern" sound.
