Public TV‚Äôs Channel 2 is the young, cosmopolitan and trendy channel of ERTU (the Egyptian Radio and Television Union). As already applied to Channel 1, ESC and the corporate logos of ERTU, the pyramid was also employed here as the most important graphic element. In the pink-tinted world of the idents, young people move from one virtual stage to the next. The triangle recurs constantly as an integral part of the architecture and its surroundings. The different scenes show fragments from Egyptian life and reflect the wishes and dreams of the young viewers. The message is a relaxed confidence, joy of presenting themselves to the world and good vibrations.
